Oracle Production/Developement Professional

Experience 6+ years

Mandatory Skills

Oracle RDBMS (SQL, PLSQL and DBA), Oracle tools/utilities

Optional Skills

Unix Shell scripting, Pro*C

Minimum Educational Level:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science a related discipline or;

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience
• Must have extensively experience with Oracle database and deep knowledge of Oracle RDBMS concepts. Preferably Oracle 10g.
• Must have extensively experience in Database Design, Development and DBA activities in development environment.
• Must be proficient in writing/reviewing complicated SQL queries, PL/SQL (Stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers).
• Must have extensively experience in Database performance tuning, SQL tuning.
• Must have hands on experience with Oracle tools and utilities
• Knowledge of UNIX and Shell scripting is an added value
• Experiences in technical support to developers/juniors in resolving technical issues, code review to make sure the standards/process are followed.
• Experience in support of Retek applications (ORMS, ORPM, OReIM, OSIM, RIB) preferred.
• Flexibility to work in US Business Hours.
• Excellent interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical people.

Role Description

· Subject Matter Expert for aligned technologies.

· Responsible for technology integration, implementation, administration, lifecycle and planning for key infrastructure systems.

· Stays current on aligned technologies and coordinates R&D for new/emerging technologies.

· Recommends training curriculum, and serves as a technical training resource to management and staff.

· May be assigned to execute technical projects that require moderate project mgmt skills

· Interacts with teams, business managers and vendors to coordinate technical interdependencies and facilitate problem resolution.

· Works under direction of the Team Lead and/or Manager.
