Mandatory Skills:

• - Excellent knowledge of DTV/STB domain, MPEG-2, and DVB Standards (DVB - S / C).
• - Good understanding and experience of software development processes.
• - Ability to capture functional requirements, define solution architecture, and cooperate with stakeholders during development.
• - Ability to create technical proposals and document software architecture.
• - Good problem solving skills and attention for detail.
• - Effective Communication and interpersonal skills.
• - Minimum five years of hands on experience in C/C++ based STB S/W development (Drivers / Middleware / Applications).

Role and responsibilities:

1. Responsible for architecture of the STB software stack provided for a project or responsible for a product/program as a product/program STB architect.

2. Owner of requirements being added to product.

3. Creates Architecture to handled new enhancements to the system. Works with various component architects to ensure component requirements and design are being done properly.
